Pick
Both of these teams have been very disappointing this season, but they did play a very exciting Game one to start this series. St. Louis jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the third inning, but Chicago was able to storm back with eight runs between the fifth and seventh innings for the win. Chicago is starting Touki Toussaint, who hasn’t pitched more than 4.0 innings in one appearance so far this year. Toussaint has allowed four earned runs over his last 10 innings pitched. St. Louis is starting Miles Mikolas, who has allowed 4, 5, 2, 6, and 5 earned runs over his last five starts. Mikolas has pitched very poorly in his recent starts, so I am taking the White Sox here.
