James Maddison injury: Progress & potential return date for Tottenham midfielder

Image
While they emerged from a 4-1 defeat with some credit left in the bank, Monday night's London derby couldn't have gone much worse for Tottenham Hotspur. The opening act was Ange Postecoglou's exuberant outfit at their swashbuckling best, and Chelsea looked set to receive a thumping on Mauricio Pochettino's not-so-warm homecoming. Instead, though, ill-discipline and woeful misfortune turned a potential party into an evening of debating where the manager's sky-high defensive line landed on the courageous/naive continuum. What should be said is that the hosts came close on three occasions to levelling the score at 1-2 despite their two-man disadvantage. Anyway, the night concluded with supporters concerned over the club's short-term outlook. Postecoglou will be without Destiny Udogie for Saturday's trip to Wolves and Cristian Romero for their next three, while Micky van Ven looks set for a prolonged period on the sidelines with a hamstring injury. Greater doub...

A former contractor for the Internal Revenue Service has been charged with leaking tax information to news outlets about thousands of the country’s wealthiest people WASHINGTON -- A former contractor for the Internal Revenue Service was charged Friday with leaking tax information to news outlets about thousands of the country's wealthiest people. F1 'unlikely' to return to Imola in 2023 after cancellation

Formula 1 is "unlikely" to return to Imola for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in 2023 owing to the busy calendar. The Imola region has been hit by heavy flooding and rainfall with the paddock being closed to personnel on Wednesday 17th May as preparation for round six of the season continued. However, after calls from the Italian Deputy Prime Minister to postpone the race, F1 officially called it off on Wednesday afternoon, with F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali explaining that one reason for the decision was not to put extra pressure on emergency services during the weekend. "Analysing the packed calendar it is highly unlikely that the race will be rescheduled, unless another race drops out," says RacingNews365's Editorial Director Dieter Rencken, who is currently in Imola. The only slot possible before the summer break at the end of July is the weekend of June 23rd-25th, but this would then create a run of four races in four weeks with the Canadian Gran...

Dr. Stephen Skoly returns to hold State of Rhode Island accountable

Image
Going back to the most restrictive part of the COVID pandemic time, Dr. Stephen Skoly, a maxillofacial surgeon providing acute care not only to the general public, but working on prisoners from the ACI and patients from the Eleanor Slater Hospital and forensic units who had severe oral injuries such as broken jaws, gunshots to the mouth area, etc. found himself unable to comply with restrictions imposed on him, and therefore unable to practice. In some instances, Dr. Skoly is the only practitioner in Rhode Island to do this type of work. His Cranston office also provides regular oral surgery, implants, and other surgical work not done by routine dentists. While dentists have been decreasing in numbers in Rhode Island, maxillofacial surgeons are even more rare. Dr. Skoly appealed for exemption to continue his work and was repeatedly denied. He spoke out about it. Eventually, as the pandemic lessened and medical experts knew more about transmission and protection, vaccination ...
