Sofyan Amrabat completes part of medical in Italy ahead of Man Utd transfer
Sofyan Amrabat has completed part of his Manchester United medical in Italy ahead of Travel ling to Carrington to finalise his move, 90min understands. After months of rumours and negotiations, Man Utd finally agreed terms with Fiorentina on a loan with an option to buy in the summer of 2024, to secure the services of Morocco international Amrabat. 90min understands that the Red Devils are set to pay a loan fee of around £8.5m, and have the option to sign the player outright for an additional £17.1m upon the expiration of his loan. Man Utd would also commit to paying £4.3m in performance based add-ons if they choose to take up their option to sign the player permanently next June. A loan with an option to buy prove to be necessary in order to get the deal over the line due to Manchester United's FFP concerns.
