Premier League Summer Series 2023: How to watch on TV, fixtures & teams involved
The 2022/23 Premier League season is yet to reach its thrilling conclusion, but plans for the summer are already being revealed.
While the vast majority of clubs have plenty to play for down the stretch, some simply cannot wait for the current campaign to end. They want a break, and for a fresh start to roll around in the form of pre-season.
Players will earn a well-deserved rest in June following a hectic season that was split up by the unprecedented winter World Cup. Come July, however, preparations for 2023/24 will begin with Premier League clubs touring the globe as part of their pre-season regime. Some will travel across the Asia-Pacific peninsula, while others will jet across the Atlantic and enjoy the States.
This summer, the Premier League has revealed six clubs will comPete in a brand new tournament known as the Summer Series.
Here's everything you need to know about the pre-season event.

The Premier League Summer Series is the first pre-season tournament hosted in the US.
Since 2003, the League held the Asia Trophy every two years across various Asian countries, but that summer tournament hasn't been played since the Covid-19 pandemic.

Speaking about the Premier League's Summer Series event, chief executive Richard Masters said: "We are delighted to be bringing six clubs to the USA in July for the first-ever Premier League Summer Series.
"Our clubs have incredible supporters in the US, who passionately follow their teams throughout the season.
"We have seen this dedication first-hand from the tens of thousands who have attended our Mornings Live fan events and are excited to be building on this by bringing live Premier League action to five cities this summer," he added.
