In the Arena – Sue Babin, RI Foster and Adoptive Families

Each week Joe Paolino, Jr. interviews leaders in Rhode Island. This week he interviews Sue Babin, of RI Foster and Adoptive Families. The organization was begun by four women who were foster mothers. The group supports families in the foster process. There are many supports out there. Often grandparents may be caring for children and not know about the support services available to them.

World Superbike move “not a thing” for Moto2 winner Dixon despite “interest”

Dixon came to Moto2 in 2019 having previously been a race winner in British Superbikes, and scored his maiden grand prix victory at the Dutch GP in June. Over the MotoGP summer break, he became linked with a potential step to the premier class and thinks “there’s still a couple of options” for him, despite the available rides already being earmarked for others. In the frame for a Gresini MotoGP ride, Dixon has prioritised staying in Moto2 with Aspar should that not come to fruition and currently has no interest in moving to WSBK. Asked by Motorsport.com ahead of the British GP if MotoGP was a realistic option for 2024, Dixon said: “I don’t know. National parks teach students about environmental issues in this course

Uncommon Courses is an occasional series from The Conversation U.S. highlighting unconventional approaches to teaching. Title of course: Environmental Issues in National Parks What prompted the idea for the course? The University of Tennessee is a natural fit for this course, with the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and all the learning opportunities it offers being only a one-hour drive away. Although I did not create this course, I jumped at the opportunity to serve as an instructor for it.
