The Witcher 3 Mod Turns Toussaint Into A Winter Wonderland
When it comes to The Witcher 3, there aren't many places that you'd actually enjoy settling down in. The majority of Velen is a battlefield and you need to sail across the ocean if you need to pop to shops in Skellige. Novigrad looks like a pretty nice place to live, but all the elf racism gives the whole city a bad vibe. The only place actually viable to live is Toussaint, the region which features in the Game's Blood and Wine DLC and the eventual resting place for Geralt himself.
It's arguably the Game's best-looking region, but if you're still not convinced then you clearly haven't seen the place blanketed in snow. If you're not a fan of warmer climates, a new mod by creator DheyssonS has brought winter to Toussaint, making the entire place look even more magical than it already does. The entire ground is covered in a fine sprinkling of snow, as are all of the tree and plants across Toussaint, while snow is constantly falling from the sky. Somehow the roads are still clear though - must have had the gritters out.
If you want to bring a chill to Toussaint yourself, you can download the mod called The Witcher 3 Icewine via Nexus Mods, which also has a few images of the mod in action for you to get general feel of what Toussaint will look like. If you want an even better look though, a YouTuber by the name of AKBULUT has a video on their YouTube channel (which you can find embedded below) showcasing the mod along with a bunch of others.
If you're in the market for a more practical mod (and consider yourself a bit of a player) another modder recently released one that allows you to romance both Triss and Yennefer at the same time. The original Game gives you a slap on the wrist by having the two ladies play a cruel trick on Geralt, but downloading this mods will allow him to play the field as much as he likes. The only thing affected will be your own personal pride.
